The Art of Communicating Project is part from the Virtues Programme, which the Foundation has been developing for more than 7 years now. It aims at widening the opportunities for practical application of the Programme as well as ensuring the sustainability of virtues classes in schools/kindergartens.
The Project includes two complementary activities. One is the establishment of sustainable and methodological support to 10 educational institutions that have participated in past trainings and projects. We believe that our cooperation and contribution are still needed in order to make the “Virtues Classes” a part from the regular school programme. Kindergartens and schools will apply with small projects including lesson plans for at least 10 virtues during the school year. We expect that around 500 kids will participate in virtues classes.
The other main activity is to create methodological and practical materials based on our experience with the Programme so far. We will publish two guides (one for kindergartens and one for primary schools) with ready-made virtues classes. Around this age kids develop their emotional intelligence. They build their character and perception of the world. The relationships with people outside the family environment are becoming more common as they make friends and socialize in class.
